PEAK: Performance Enhancement & Acquisition of Knowledge

Curriculum as per NEW EDUCATION POLICY - 2020 & FOUNDATION OF NATIONAL RECRUITMENT AGENCY

Objective:

A mission to develop competitive enthusiasm among Maharashtra state students for:

1. Better performance in various competition/entrance exams
2. Making them better employable
3. Overall development of students’ mindset

Area of Concern:

• Current classroom teaching in schools/colleges focuses merely on bookish/theoretical knowledge to help students score higher percentages in annual exams.
• Most of the competitive/entrance exams test students with general knowledge/intelligence/application-based questions which are generally not covered properly in schools/colleges.
• Examples of such exams:

1. School level exams: State Govt. Scholarship exam, NTSE, etc.
2. After 12th entrance exams: NEET, JEE, NDA, CPT, CLAT, Hotel Management, Fashion-Design, etc.
3. After 10th/12th Exams: SSC, MPSC, Police, Railway, Banking, etc.

• Many students find it challenging to prepare for the various exams mentioned above due to lack of awareness and enthusiasm for competition exams and exposure to MCQ type questions.

Solution:

Std 5th to 10th (For better understanding of rural students, whole content will be provided in Marathi as well)

• To better prepare for various competitive/entrance exams in school itself, the following subjects should be targeted:

2. Target std 6th & 7th: NMMS, Strong Foundation
3. Target std 8th: Govt Scholarship Exam, NMMS
4. Target std 9th & 10th: NTSE, JEE, MHCET

2. Target std 6th & 7th: NEET, JEE, NMMS, NTSE
3. Target std 8th: NEET, JEE, NMMS, NTSE
